Reisher Scholars Program - Continuing Students
Application Deadline: 02/09/2026
Roger L. and Margaret Reisher established the Reisher Family Foundation in 2000 to support promising students from families with limited financial means in completing their college education. The mission of the Reisher Scholars Program is to offer a supportive network and financial assistance to Colorado students, ensuring they graduate on time with minimal student debt.
Reisher Scholars are highly motivated, goal-oriented, and responsible individuals who are committed to making a positive impact in their communities. They demonstrate this through leadership, community service, or work experience.
To be considered for the program, students must be Colorado residents and continuing sophomores at Colorado Mesa University at the time they receive the award (2026-2027). Transfer students are also eligible and should apply through the Reisher Scholars Transfer Scholarship Portal. Applicants must have and maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0, demonstrate financial need as determined by FAFSA data, and be on track to graduate within a total of four years from the start of their college education.
Selection for the Reisher Scholars Program is highly competitive and includes an interview process. While in the program, students are required to work at least 10 hours per week.
