Daniels Fund Boundless Opportunity Scholarship (TRIO-SSS participants)
Colorado Mesa University (CMU) has been awarded a Daniels Fund Boundless Opportunity Scholarship grant. The Boundless Opportunity Scholarship (BOS) benefits motivated non-traditional students who recognize the value of an education in creating a better life for themselves and their families. The CMU BOS serves four non-traditional student populations. The scholarship is intended to help students, with a demonstrated financial need, as they invest in themselves through continued education.
Scholarship recipients must be residents of the State of Colorado, TRIO participants who are pursuing a 4-year Bachelor’s degree, must have a documented financial need, maintain a minimum overall GPA of 2.5, and must be enrolled full-time (12 credit hours) beginning with the upcoming Fall semester. Students must be either an adult learner, a GED recipient, a person previously in the foster care system, or returning military. If selected, recipients are required to meet with their TRIO mentor on a monthly basis.
