Selma Wolk LPN Nursing Scholarship

The Scholarship was established by Elizabeth Brodak and Kathryn Bruhn in memory of their mother, Selma Wolk. Both daughters witnessed the excellent care that their mother received while a resident at a long-term care facility and appreciate those that dedicate their life to providing health care to geriatric patients. Their mother, Mrs. Wolk, recognized the value of education in the lives of individuals and had expressed her desire to help individuals wishing to further their nursing career. Her daughters would now like to provide a lasting tribute to their mother and follow through with her wish to help those that would like to expand their horizons by pursuing a Licensed Practical Nursing Certificate. Accordingly, this scholarship was established to help those students who have the potential to further their career in the geriatric nursing field with their financial assistance.
