Sandra Hays Sells Memorial Endowed Scholarship

This Endowed Scholarship Fund is being established by Mr. & Mrs. Herbert Hays in memory of their daughter, Sandra Hays Sells. Sandra graduated from Palisade High School and Mesa Junior College and went on to receive her baccalaureate degree from Bishops University in Quebec, Canada. During her years at Mesa State Junior College, Sandra performed as a lead vocalist with the Mesa State Jazz Band and was a singer with the Grand Junction Chorale Group. She was a successful public relations manager, working for several large corporations for many years, and was appreciative of her time at MSC. Mr. & Mrs. Hays would like to honor their daughter’s memory through the establishment of this endowed scholarship program and also help students who has the same interests at Sandra, complete their degrees.
