Ridgway Ryan Scholarship

Ridgway Ryan is establishing this scholarship to help students seeking technical education and training to assist them in entering the workforce.

He is supporting Stackable Credentials because the program connects students with resources and classes so they can complete their credential, find an internship, a job and continue their education. The program also helps plan for futures — whether new to the workforce, changing careers or advancing in a field.

Stackable Credentials gives students options since credentials are stackable and may be used toward a degree. Students have options to advance their education and career over time. They may also come back and complete a degree after taking a break, finish additional education while working or continue to a degree.

Stackable Credentials leads to jobs that are in-demand and offers opportunities for advancement. There are pathways to fit every student: whether looking for a new career, wanting to advance in a field, needing some skills to get back into the workforce quickly, or just starting out and looking for that first job.
