Mary Elizabeth (McDonald) Dolan Scholarship

The Mary Elizabeth Dolan Scholarship was established by The Dolan Family, in memory of Mary Elizabeth Dolan. They wish to provide support to a nursing student who has the potential to further his/her education with their financial assistance. Mary Elizabeth McDonald was born in Grand Junction on December 31, 1920. She enrolled at Mesa College and went into the nursing program, trained at St Mary’s Hospital in Grand Junction and at St Joseph’s hospital in Denver. She earned her registered nurses license. She was a surgical nurse. The Dolan family establish this scholarship in her name in honor of her life and her giving spirit. It is our fondest wish that this scholarship help many people over many years with a leg up on the way to productive satisfying lives. Our mother would love to see that and hope for the very best for the recipients.
