Gormley Memorial Scholarship

The Gormley Memorial scholarship was made possible by Pat Gormley. He was a banker who was very involved with the community. He was involved with the Colorado Riverfront Project, the redevelopment of the Avalon Theater, the Mesa County Land Conservancy and St. Mary’s Hospital Foundation, and he also served on the board of Colorado College and was on the US West Communications Colorado advisory board. Pat was a long time member of the Grand Junction Rotary Club. He created this scholarship because he wanted to help a student in the Strings Program.
