The Forrest Nelson Endowed Geology Fund was Established by Forrest Nelson. Forrest Nelson is a retired geologist. He was educated at Michigan State University, before it became a university. As a student he did not receive scholarship assistance and worked his way through college. It is his desire to provide support to students that was not available to him.
