Dwight & Carolyn Tope Endowed Scholarship Fund

The Dwight & Carolyn Tope Endowed Scholarship’s initial funding of this endowment is from Rock Tope through a Vanguard Charitable Fund· established by Dwight and Carolyn Tope. Rock is the son of Dwight who grew up in Grand Junction, Colorado. Dwight’s father was Richard Tope, who was a longtime educator and former superintendent of schools in Grand Junction. Tope elementary was named in his honor. Additionally, Dwight founded the Richard E. Tope Endowment at the CMU Foundation in honor of his father who was one of the founding members and original Trustees of Mesa Junior College.
