Dick and Gaylene Thompson Endowment

Dick and Gaylene are both graduates of Montana State University who value higher education. This scholarship is established to provide opportunities for those who will be the first in their families to graduate college. They intend to support students through their educational journey until they graduate. There is no preference as to the type of academic program, either at CMU or CMU Tech, on which they wish to focus their generosity. They have a strong beliefthat all forms and levels of higher education are important and beneficial. A GPA requirement of 3.0 is intended to set a reachable bar and encourage students to work hard at the opportunity they’ve been given.
