Dean & Mary Harris Jazz Scholarship
Dean and Mary Harris are lifelong learners and lovers of the arts, and believe that music is a universal language that enriches persons and their communities. Mary is a Human Resources Director and pianist, and Dean is an attorney and vocalist. Mary and Dean were energized by college jazz when their daughter performed as a college jazz musician, and she continues to perform semiprofessionally in the Denver metro area. Dean and Mary are excited by the steady growth in the jazz program at Colorado Mesa University and want to assist in fostering a lifelong commitment to music and the arts as a career or avocation.
