Copeland Family Endowed Scholarship

The initial funding of the endowment is from Dr. Mitch Copeland. Dr. Copeland is a Fruita Monument High School graduate and third-generation physician in the Grand Valley. He, his family, and their practice, Western Orthopedic Sports Medicine, have a long history of supporting athletics at educational institutions, especially at Colorado Mesa University. In 2010, the athletic training room at Colorado Mesa University was named the Copeland Family Athletic Training Room in honor of the Copeland Family’s long-time commitment to supporting CMU athletics. Dr. Copeland serves as the Medical Director for the CMU Athletic Training program as well as the Medical Director of the Athletic Training room.
