Clair Clayton Scholarship

Clair Clayton Scholarship

The Clair Clayton Scholarship was established by Gene D. Richardson with matching contributions from Coca-Cola Enterprises, Inc. The scholarship is awarded in memory of Clair Clayton, a Grand Junction High School top athlete who was seriously injured and paralyzed while participating in a school sport activity. Clair died a short time later as a result of his injuries. This scholarship will provide financial assistance to a student who is handicapped.
