Adleman Family Scholarship

Rick and Staci Adleman are proud graduates of Colorado Mesa University, and of Delta and Olathe High Schools, respectively. They met in a COBOL class taught by Pierre Betteli and they married while still students at CMU. Rick began his career at CMU as Director of Alumni Relations in 2001, and the university has been an integral part of their family life ever since. Their daughter, Kaitlin “Kricket,” grew up attending campus events and activities from the age of eight. She went on to earn six varsity letters as a member of CMU’s indoor and beach volleyball teams. It was also at CMU that she met her husband, fellow alumnus Andrew Burris.

The education they received and the friendships they formed at CMU have greatly enriched the Adleman family’s professional and personal lives. Through this scholarship, they hope to help others experience those same opportunities, connections, and joys.
