The Dr. Ruth Maurer Single Reed Scholarship

The funding of this scholarship is from Ruth Maurer. Dr. Maurer is a professor emeritus of the Colorado School of Mines. She was also a professor at West Point Military Academy and has taught adjunct courses in developmental math at CMU. Dr. Maurer’s passion is the flute and music program at CMU. She wishes to establish this scholarship to support the recruitment of single reed instruments.
