Daniels Fund Boundless Opportunity Scholarship (TRIO-SSS participants)

Colorado Mesa University (CMU) has been awarded a Daniels Fund Boundless Opportunity Scholarship grant. The Boundless Opportunity Scholarship (BOS) benefits motivated non-traditional students who recognize the value of an education in creating a better life for themselves and their families. The CMU BOS serves four non-traditional student populations (adult learners age 25+, GED recipients, previous foster youth, and returning military). The scholarship is intended to help students, with a demonstrated financial need, as they invest in themselves through continued education.

Scholarship recipients must be residents of the State of Colorado, TRIO participants who are pursuing a 4-year Bachelor’s degree, must have a documented financial need, maintain a minimum overall GPA of 2.5, and must be enrolled full-time (12 credit hours) beginning with the upcoming Fall semester. Students must be either an adult learner (age 25+), a GED recipient, a person previously in the foster care system, or returning military. Ideal candidates will graduate in the Spring or Summer of 2022, but anyone with two years of college left is welcome to apply. If selected, recipients are required to meet with their TRIO mentor on a monthly basis.
