Brownson District 51 Scholarship

Holly and Robert Brownson recognize the importance of education in the long-term success of individuals and would like to offer selected students the opportunity to attend CMU who might not have the resources or the expectation that they could attend college. They are hoping to provide financial assistance to students that Holly worked with through the ELM program at Pomona Elementary School and are now reaching the end of their public school education. Through her work in the ELM program, Holly had the opportunity to work one-on-one with students on their reading skills. She had never forgotten those students and believes that many of them may have the desire, although not the means, to attend college. Accordingly, this scholarship is established to help those students by ensuring that their full tuition, fees, books, and supplies are fully covered, once they have accessed all available state and local funding, including but not limited to grants and other financial aid.
